ID’s for Attendance

on:A try to decrease the corruption in sign up system
Instead of signing every morning, everyone will have to give their college ID cards in the office.
Since in the existing signing system someone has to mark late attendance or the absentees in the signup sheets…now he will have to put a tick mark in the sheets, opposite to the names of whoever has given their ID cards. The cards would be returned to0 students in the day time or they can pick it up from the office.
Now since the cards given in office have to be put according to class or department, the ID cards would have department code on it. There is also a color coding system; all the department codes would have different color so it helps while arranging the cards.
This system of collecting cards
– Would reduce corruption since everyone has to give their own card.
– Saves time because you just have to handover the card.
– Makes it easier and faster for Mathew or Mr.Anand to sort out the sign up sheets.

on:A note from the Srishti Admin office:
We installed a new Sign-in system that enables co-operation amongst students and the administration and diminishes any kind of defection.
We observed the student’s reaction to the new system..
DISTRIBUTION:
– The punch cards can be categorized by the specialization and/or be distributed around the campuses where the specializations takes place.
While some were regular, other’s were just..
UNLUCKY!
The procedure for signing up:
– Tell the guard your 3-letter Initials that you use to access the srishti network. He will then find you punch card from the lot.
-Next, he will punch out a hole under that date of the month. Each month there is a new card.
-Each student will get only their own punch card which would have their pictures. This reduces the chances of corrupting the system by signing-in for others.
-All the punch outs will be done before 9:00AM.
-The sign-ups can be distributed over the floors if the system gets too crowded.
-Those who enter the premises after 9:00AM, would get late attendence.
The End.
